Boost Mobile’s Reboost Program

Filed under: Thought I Would Share — Stefani @ 3:45 pm

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boost Mobile. All opinions are 100% mine.

Where You At? That was something I heard over and over again on the Boost Mobile commercials. Now some commercials tend to annoy me but the Boost Mobile commercials always made me laugh. If you are unfamiliar with Boost Mobile, it is a Pay-As-You go cell phone service. I had a very nice cell phone with them in the past and was always pleased.

What I like about Boost Mobile opposed to some of the other cell phone companies is the flexible payment methods. Who wants to have to visit a shop or store to have to pay their bill? They have an awesome Re-Boost program that allows you can pay online, in person and even by phone with your debit/credit card. I like to be able to have a few different options when paying, ya feel? If you are unable to pay your bill, you can have the option of having a friend or family member pay it through all these options too!

When I had Boost Mobile, I had one of the newest phones available on the market. Sometimes with the Pay-As-You go phones, you are limited to a certain selection. I liked the fact that you can have the nice phones like a Blackberry, but not be on a contract at the same time. Right now they have some really AWESOME deals on the Blackberry smartphones.

Wordless Wednesday – What Is It?

Filed under: Wordless Wednesdays — Stefani @ 12:39 pm

This past weekend my husband and I went to the local flea market. We bought a few fruit trees to plant in the back yard and I decided to grab this plant. If I remember right, it was some sort of Thai Chile of some sort or pepper. I happened to grab a plant that did not have one of those name tags. I have tried to look online to see if I can find it and no luck…..

Any ideas?

Time For A New Shade Of Paint

Filed under: Thought I Would Share — Stefani @ 3:30 pm

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Glidden. All opinions are 100% mine.

A couple weeks ago I got a itch to paint and repainted my kitchen. It took me all day, but I was impressed with the ending results. Now that my kitchen looks better, I am wanting so badly to put a new fresh coat of paint in my room. The color in my room is this dark mauve color which I don’t care for. The only thing I dread about painting my room is moving all my furniture so nothing gets paint on it. The bedroom will be a bigger chore then the kitchen but a new shade of white will give my room a whole NEW look which is so nearly needed.

I seen recently that Glidden offers paint testers so you can test out the paint before you splurge and buy all the supplies to start and finish your project. I think this is awesome and am planning on going to Home Depot to see if they have the Glidden paint testers. I have not decided if I want to color my room white or give it a whole new color. You can also get a rebate form on the Glidden.com website to save $5 Off a 1 gallon bucket or save $20 off a 5 gallon bucket. For those painting your whole house, this might make for a good deal!

Have you used this brand of paint before? Feel free to share your experiences by leaving me a comment below.

Free Huggies At Walgreens Next Week

Filed under: Saving Money — Stefani @ 3:00 pm

My kids have always been Huggies babies and thank goodness my youngest is almost out of diapers. I think I will still keep buying wipes though because they are convenient when cleaning up sticky fingers and little messes.

Anyhow, starting Sunday you can get 2 tubs of Huggies diaper wipes for FREE. All you have to do is print the $2 Off Huggies coupon and hit the back button to print it twice. You will probably want to buy something else so the cashier doesn’t look at you with that evil look.

Anyhow,

Make Money With MySavings Media

MySavings Media Super Affiliate Program

As a work at home mom, I have a variety of ways that I bring in income from all my online activities. One of my favorite ways to make money is with affiliate programs. Many people have no idea what an affiliate program even is. I think that if they knew what an affiliate program was and how easy you can make money with them, there would be more moms like me staying home with their children and supplementing their family’s income too!

Okay, if you have no clue what an affiliate program is I will explain. Many websites online (not all) will have a program for webmasters to join. When you join their program, you place a link on your website and when a visitor clicks on that link, you can earn a possible commission. Some affiliate programs pay you per click, per conversion, per lead, etc. Each affiliate program will have different terms and regulations. You will find a TON of affiliate programs online as well as affiliate networks. Affiliate networks provide lots of affiliate programs within them. You sign up for one company and get a variety of programs to promote.

You do not need to be a computer dork to make money with these types of programs. Many moms like me start of blogs every day with no computer knowledge at all. Once they get their blog going, they will add various affiliate links to start earning MONEY daily! I am a member of an affiliate network that I really like is the MySavings Media Program. I have been a member for quite a few months and really love everything about it. I love all the different campaigns they offer as well as their friendly account managers, frequently updated stats and more!

If you have a website or blog that features freebies, coupons, bargains and other types of savings type content, you might want to check this network out. They have some great campaigns that enable me to make some good extra money with little or no effort.

Thrifty Thursday

Filed under: Thrifty Thursday — Stefani @ 9:34 am

I have always loved Thursdays. I think this is due to the fact that when I used to work outside of the home, Thursday meant only one more work day until the weekend. I also seem to put Thrifty and Thursday together so I have now created a new category for my blog called “Thrifty Thursday”. I hope to give you a post each Thursday about ways you can save money, get stuff for free, bargains, etc.

Today I want to share with you some uses for baking soda that you might not be aware of.

  • Homemade toothpaste – I have actually been using baking soda to clean my teeth since I was a kid. You can create your own toothpaste by mixing baking soda and a 3% hydrogen peroxide solution. I have always added a little bit of baking soda to the top of the toothpaste on my toothbrush.
  • Antacid reliever – Yes, this stuff helps with heartburn. It can help relieve heartburn, sour stomach or indigestion. Look on the box for details on how much to use.
  • Puts small flames out – I keep a box of baking soda next to my stove in case of emergency. Sometimes food that is left under your burner will cause a small fire. Keep one of these handy for quick relief.
  • Gets rid of smelly sponges – I hate when I go to wash dishes and my sponge STINKS. Mix 4 to 5 teaspoons of banking soda in a bowl of water to get rid of the stink.
