My office happens to be in my kitchen. I hope to one day have my own office outside my home, but for now it works. I have a cute little wood desk I work at with a comfortable desk chair. When I get my office one day, I want to buy all new office furniture. I am going to have a stylish desk, new desk chair, magazine rack, entertainment system and of course a flat screen tv. This will be my place to go to that is my own. A place away from my chaotic family! While I love my family, there are days when I don’t get much done because I have no quiet time. I have found working late at night is when I get most of my writing done.

There is a neat magazine online for those of you nurses out  there called Scrubs. I was browsing this online magazine and found some pretty interesting articles that I enjoyed reading and I am not a nurse. I really enjoyed reading the beauty tips articles. Most of these articles would apply to almost anyone, not just nurses. Since it is now summer, there are some great articles related to fashion and my favorite topic of summer, tanning!

There is an article in Scrubs titled “Makeup That Holds” that has some great information for those of you that wear makeup. It explains how and what to use to keep your makeup looking great all day long. For those of you that want to learn how to make your makeup last longer, be sure to read this article. I am one that wears makeup occasionally. I work at home so I can take a day without putting on my face,  as my mom would call it. Besides the beauty articles I found and read, they have some great articles on mind, health, style, work, love and money.

If you are ever going to be in the New Jersey area, you should really check out Morey’s Piers. This is a place that your whole family is sure to enjoy. This is a great place for a vacation in the summer too! Morey’s Piers has 3 different amusement piers and two different beachfront water parks. This place covers six blocks of fun for your family. When starting your first website or blog, you are going to have to find a web hosting provider. Or maybe you already have hosting but looking for something to better suit your needs. You will want to do your research first. Don’t sign up with the first host that you find because there are so many different options available.

On the main page of the site you will find the top 10 web hosting providers they have chosen.  Along with the names of these 10 companies you will find features, bonus features and a link to their review. You can also find links to green web hosting, multiple domain hosting, free domain names and more.

Be sure to check out the Best Budget Hosting section. You can find companies they feel should be awarded as well as details and customer reviews. I like reading real customer reviews of companies before I purchase services or products from them. You can also add your own customer review if you have experience from any of the companies that they have listed on their website.

Like I mentioned before, just do some research before picking out a provider. Many will offer different types of features and deals for new accounts.

Do you ever donate items or money to charity? I have done a March of Dimes walk in the past and I do donate clothes and household items to the Salvation Army when I find things we no longer need. Luckily I have a local Salvation Army donation center just a few blocks away. When I help donate to charity, it gives me a good feeling inside. I know that I may not have it that great, but there are so many others that have it worse.

Have you heard of Vistaprint yet? I have been using them for many years. I mostly buy their business cards for all my different websites but have tried quite a few of their other products as well. One of my favorite products that they have is their custom t-shirts. I recently had a t-shirt made with Mommy Enterprises on it. I have not worn the t-shirt yet because I am saving it for a favorite occasion. I have it hanging in my closet proudly though. You can get a free t-shirt from them too! You select a free design and the text. There are 30 different designs to choose from. I had fun designing mine and can’t wait to make more. The picture in this post is the design I chose for my shirt. I actually want to make some t-shirts with Mommy Enterprises for my friends and family too. The free t-shirts come in white. If you want ash gray or black, you have to spend a little more.

If you don’t think you want to get a t-shirt, you should at least make yourself some business cards. You can get 250 cards for free. The catch is you pay shipping but it is well worth it. I have had over a dozen different designs made for myself. I have also made some for friends that don’t have access to the internet like I do.

I have been trying to get more exercise lately. I have even been going to the gym a few times a week. One of the things I would like to get is a bike to ride on around the neighborhood with my kids. All of my daughters have a bike but me.

I think I want a beachc ruiser style bike. There is a site online that has all sorts of bike stuff like mavic wheels. Now those are some expensive wheels!

Maybe Santa will bring me one for Christmas.

The Midway Of Fun has a small little carnival running right now by our house. It only had one ride for mom and dad but that was okay. I have taken Hannah on the carousel ride before at the state fair but she always wanted the bench seat instead of a horse. Today when I put Christopher on a horse, she decided she wanted to ride one too. She then loved it so much she rode the ride for a second time.

You know those big super slides? Well lucky me got to go down twice with Hannah on my lap. I thought the second time I was going to fly up in the air we were going to fast. We had fun though! I forgot to bring my darn camera…
