Have you heard of Squidoo yet? I actually joined March 2007 and setup my first lens on the site. I really didn’t know what I was doing. Since, I have always heard good things about Squidoo and how it can earn you some extra income. I have been now building my empire of lens on the site. Have you heard of the website LilaGuide ? It is a local parenting website. You can join FREE and find other groups in your area or search for groups by interest. I was invited to the website to become an "expert" in the working from home area. Since I am a full time work at home mom and own a work at home help center, I decided to join and give it a go. I have setup a group on the site called "Making Money Moms".

This group will be for you moms that work from home or want to work from home. It will be a place to network with other moms and myself. I will be helping moms on this group come up with ideas to make money at home, post opportunities and more! It is going to be FUN! I have wanted to create some “niche” blogs for quite some time. I have content for a variety of websites or blogs but just haven’t sat down and thought about which type of “niche” blog I want to create. I was going through my content last night and decided to create a blog about self improvement and self help. I had the most content for this topic so I went ahead and created a blog through my Blogger account. I chose this blogging platform because I was able to set it up in just a minute or two. I am hoping to make some extra income with Adsense, and Blogger has this option where I can just add the Adsense block in my template in a few seconds. Now, when I make posts it will insert an Adsense banner at the top of my posts. If I would have chosen to go with Wordpress, I would have had to create a new site or create the blog from one of my existing domains. Then I would have had to install Wordpress and find a theme. Then I would have to upload the theme. Then for Adsense, I would have to manually add the Adsense code to each post or download one of the Adsense plugins/widgets. I do prefer Wordpress as a blogging platform, but for the purpose of this method I thought Blogger would be the best method.

I started a new blog last night. I bought the domain a couple weeks ago but have been debating whether I wanted to do a static blog or a regular blog. I decided to go with a blog but use some of the techniques, tricks, widgets, etc that I learned with the Static Blogging Course I bought. Anyhow, the new blog is about internet marketing, my favorite topic. I originally wanted to do something similar with this blog but this is a blog with everything on it that I want to post about!
